The Honorable Mayor Francis Slay and the Honorable Charles Dooley, County Executive will give Mayoral Remarks, present a proclamation and cut a birthday cake in honor of Josephine Baker’s 100th birthday

Inspired by Josephine Baker’s Famous Danse Sauvage, which incorporated African movement, the Yele Dancers perform West African dances.
